Mumbai: MITCON Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Center, which is working for commercialization of biotechnology by bridging the gap between academia and industry, is launching a job-cum-knowledge portal called BioBrains on December 12, 2012 (12/12/12).

The portal has been designed for students and professionals of the biotechnology sector in India. The subscription for this portal will be free of cost. The registered users will be able to avail several facilities from this portal, including searching for jobs, news from industries, events, free reference material, free nultiple-choice-questions' library, information about training institutes, colleges, educational and research institutes, upcoming PhD positions and fellowships, and offer consultancy and networking opportunities with professionals for starting new business ventures in biotechnology.

The portal will also provide regular updates on job opportunities to registered users on their email address. The portal will be useful for students, teachers, scientists, consultants, corporate and entrepreneurs.
