In-Vitro Diagnostic Summit 2010 Will Be Organized On May By CBI China
Dec 10, 2010 - Dec 11, 2010
Shanghai, China
Statistics indicated that world’s IVD market amounted to USD 34 billion in 2007, and USD 38.42 billion in 2008. Despite the economic recession around the world in 2009, the market landscape of IVD remained intact, according to some analysts. Approximately 9% growth of IVD is anticipated for 2010 – 2012. At present, China is a country with the lowest per-capita consumption worldwide, making up merely 2% of global IVD market share with as much as 1/5 of world’s population. But the country still has the fastest growth, as its market grows at 15% – 20% annually. As a nascent industry in China, IVD is benefiting from the progress of heath care and state policies, especially the country’s medical reform and stimulus for domestic demand. Fundamental changes are taking place in China’s health care system. Furthermore, the outbreak of H1N1 flu epidemic in 2009 also gave IVD industry uplift. In general, IVD is at the forefront of medical research and services, and is a key area of preventive medicine R&D. China, as one of the most important IVD markets, has fostered competitive IVD firms in recent years and developed new technologies and products. The IVD market of China was in double-digit growth in the past decade, and was deemed as the most promising market in Asia. CBI and BIOON.COM have joined hands to present In-Vitro Diagnostic Summit 2010 on May. Scientific, pragmatic, authoritative and up-to-date expertise and technologies will be shared at this conference. The participants from Reagent and Medical Device will also have great opportunities to network with IVD industry companies and get a thorough update about the policies and market. Cases will be studied to demonstrate how cutting-edge technologies have been turned into commercial success.
