Singapore, Aug 26, 2010: Australian biotech company, Genetic Technologies (GTG) announced that it has settled disputes with two US biotechnology companies.

According to the company, Beckman Coulter of California, and Clinical Data of Massachusetts, have each, now entered into appropriate settlement agreements with Genetic Technologies. These two settlements are a consequence of the patent-infringement law suit filed by Genetic Technologies in the US District Court, Western District of Wisconsin, earlier this year.

However, GTG has not disclosed, the precise commercial terms of these two settlements, as they are said to be covered by formal confidentiality provisions contained within the settlement agreement.

The company has also announced that it is engaged in discussions with other parties pertaining to this law suit, and those outside of this law suit.
