Singapore, July 23, 2010: The 5th BIO KOREA 2010 Conference and Exhibition will be held from September 1 to 3, 2010 at COEX, Seoul, Korea. The event, with main goal of applying biotechnology in business, will offer a variety of high-level conferences, international exhibitions and partnership events and provides an opportunity to find business and technology partners.

The BIO KOREA 2010 Conference will provide an opportunity to discuss various subjects such as vaccines, clinics, regenerative medicine, new medicine developed from natural substances, antibodies, technology commercialization, investment attraction and industry policies and system. There will be 48 sessions given by 125 world-class scholars and experts in life sciences and bio industry as well as CEOs of global bio companies, who will share related knowledge and information.

The Korean bio-industry has grown by an average of 14 % per year over the last three years. The great strides in the field of Korean bio-industry are attributed to the support and effort of government, academics, research institutes and companies from related industries.

The previous event, BIO KOREA 2009, hosted 241 companies and 17,084 visitors from across the globe including the U.S., Japan, EU and Australia. The event this year expects 265 companies and about 19,000 visitors from all over the world. It will be an outstanding exhibition of an international nature embracing every field of the bio-industry.
