Singapore, July 21, 2010: Taiwan's leading biotech-focused conference and networking event, BioBusiness Asia 2010, is inaugurated on July 21, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan. Organized by Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the theme of this year's conference is "Energizing Biobusiness in Asia."
Speakers and panelists include 30 industry and investment specialists from China, Japan, the US, Germany, Australia, as well as event hosts Taiwan, and feature Dr Ann Hanham, Managing Director, Burrill & Co; Prof. Peter Fitzgerald, Director, Center for Cardiovascular Technology, Stanford University; and Dr Allen Chao, Chairman, Newport Healthcare Advisors and the Founder and Former CEO of Watson Pharmaceuticals, the third largest generic drug maker in the US.
In addition, 100 companies, including 23 international firms, will be participating in the conference's company presentation and business partnering sessions, designed to provide a focused environment for participants to explore collaborative research and business partnerships.
