Singapore, Aug 19, 2010: Australia-based Healthcare group, Stirling Products has appointed Mr Alan Payne as the Group CEO and Business Development Manager, responsible for the global sales initiative and continued development of the TeleMedCare ehealth products.
Mr Payne is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive business development experience that includes over 20 years in Healthcare, Technology and Capital Markets, bringing innovation, vision, knowledge, drive and the ability to deliver globally across multiple businesses and support functions. According to the company, he has proven ability to commercially negotiate complex contracts, and a deep knowledge of developing sophisticated e-Health SOAplatforms in a high pressure and diverse software business development environment in international cultures and organizations.
Mr Payne, has worked at several major financial institutions, including CTO at J P Morgan Chase, Director of Finance Technology at Merrill Lynch and Vice President (Sales) for Oracle's banking division in Asia Pacific. His most recent roles have been in consulting, to TeleMedCare in the UK and in assistive development of IP at University College, London.

The company has also announced that progress at its pharmaceutical production plant in Cape Breton, Canada, remains ahead of schedule with product production to commence by late September 2010.
The company has already built up its initial core workforce to 18, including management and key employees. Recruitment of plant operational personnel will be commencing in the first two weeks of September, and it is expected that initially a further 15-20 people will be employed as operations commence.
Acetaminophen product will feature in the first production runs of the company, with approximately 13 tons of active ingredient, ready for production processing. A number of contract manufacturing opportunities are also now actively being pursued, given that formal plant licensing is imminent.
