Bangalore, Feb 18, 2010: The 4th international symposium on “Current Trends in Drug Discovery Research” is being organized from 17-21 February in noth Indian city of Lucknow.
The symposium will focus on the innovative approaches to drug discovery & development for infectious and tropical diseases (malaria, filaria, leishmania, HIV, tuberculosis), aging, genetic, metabolic & endocrine disorders (neurodegenerative, diabetes, obesity, CNS & CVS related disorders) and reproductive disorders (osteoporosis).
The deliberations are expected to be held on the wide range of topics including the the computational endeavors, innovative drug discovery approaches and in depth analysis of Structure Activity Relationships (SAR), new drug targets and state of art techniques for synthesis of organic molecules.
The sub areas for discussion include the Cellular and molecular signaling, Virtual library design and screening, Systems Biology, Bioimaging, Validated therapeutic targets, translational research, ethics regulation and governance.
