Singapore, Nov 17, 2008: Valeant Pharmaceuticals, a New York Stock Exchange listed pharma company based in California has acquired DermaTech, an Australian specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology products.

 

Valeant has bought the company for around $12.33 million.

 

This deal expands Valeants Australian specialty pharmaceutical business through the acquisition of key products in both the retail and prescription brands, which complement Valeants current product portfolio. DermaTechs current annualized net sales are approximately $6.18 million.
