Dalian, China, May 13, 2008: Particle Measuring Systems (PMS), one of key players in designing, manufacturing, and servicing particle counters and molecular/gas analyzers, based in Colorado, USA has launched Lasair III particle counter sets in China at the ‘Interphex China.’  The Particle Measuring Systems will reach out to its customers through Shanghai SUNDEN Technology Corporation, a Shanghai based semiconductor and lab equipment company. 

 

The Lasair III particle counter sets the new standard for portable aerosol particle counters. The on-board Pulse Height Analyzer (PHA) ensures ISO 21501 compliance. The large IR touch-screen controls and intuitive user interface make the system very easy to use. The particle counter's rugged enclosure is chemically resistant and lightweight for portability. The enclosure also has a streamlined design that minimizes particle traps and makes the system easy to clean.

 

Considering the growing pharma market in China, Particle Measuring Systems will start its direct operations in China by acquiring SUNDEN Technology Corporation. Particle Measuring Systems has been in business in Asian countries though distributors except Singapore.

 

Mr David Geisenhoff, key account manager, Particle Measuring Systems said, “The process of acquisition will be completed by next quarter. Our China operation will accommodate about 10-15 people who will take care of the sales, support and services in China.”
