Bangalore, Nov 10, 2008: India’s Elder Pharmaceuticals has tied up with Japanese pharma giant Daiwa Pharmaceuticals to manufacture and sell Daiwa’s products in India.
Elder will initially start making ‘Imbran,’ a novel immunity development supplement and later sell other products from the Japanese company’s portfolio.
This is the first time an Indian company has tied up with a Japanese company to sell branded healthcare products in India.
Daiwa Pharmaceuticals specializes in health supplements and functional foods and their products are well accepted in more than 42 countries.
