Bangalore, Mar 10, 2010: The 34^th edition of the International Symposium on Alcohol Fuels (ISAF XVIII) is being held in New Delhi between March 9-12, 2010. The main theme of the event is 'Innovation for Local and Global Sustainability of Alcohol Fuels'.

The applicability of alcohol fuels has recently expanded throughout the globe and this has brought high importance and recognition to alcohol fuels. Against this globalized face of alcohol fuels, the basic agenda for ISAF-XVIII focus on three main subjects: research innovation for the production of sustainable alcohol fuels under the globalized program; technology/technologies and policy for expansion in the field of production of alcohol fuels including methanol and ethers; and CDM and solutions to environmental problems faced due to production of alcohol fuels from various feedstocks.

ISAF-XVIII is being organized by the All India Distillers’ Association (AIDA), India.
