Singapore, March 10, 2008:  InspireMD, an innovative medical device company from Israel has launched MGuard Coronary Stent in the Italian market. MGuard has received last October CE Mark approval to treat patients with coronary artery diseases. Distribution of MGuard in Italy will be carried out by InspireMD representative in Italy – Kardia, based in Milan.

MGuard Coronary Stent is designed to provide an embolic shower protection during and post stenting procedure. It is indicated to treat patients with coronary artery disease. In ongoing clinical trials conducted in Germany and Brazil to date, the MGuard Coronary has achieved a procedural success rate of 100% with 0% of any major adverse cardiac events.
