Singapore, April 2, 2008: Over 50 international and 100 Korean biotechnology and pharma companies will be participating in the Global BioTech Forum 2008 to held in Seoul, Korea between May 21-23, 2008.
This event has been specifically designed to bring the leaders of the global bio/pharmaceutical companies to Korea---a country that is growing rapidly as the center of the Asian biotech industry. In order to provide overseas attendees with comprehensive exposure to the breadth of Korea’s bio/pharmaceutical sector, about 100 promising pharmaceutical companies, biotech venture, and R&D centers among others will participate in this event.
Global BioTech Forum is divided into three tracks: pharmaceutical, biotechnology and multi-business issues. Each track will feature conferences attendees are encouraged to take part in and deliver business proposals in the areas of licensing in & out, joint ventures, M&A strategy, and clinical trials among others. Twenty recent examples of successful domestic R&D and clinical trials will be announced at the conference. In addition, pre-arranged one-on-one partnering meetings will be held to help all participants give shape to their interests.
